Hey, I’m Amy. And I’m not just your photographer—I’m your hype woman, your mirror, and your reminder that you are already art.

I created Buxom Betty Boudoir to give women and femmes the kind of experience I always wished existed—one where your body isn’t judged, fixed, or filtered, but celebrated. As a plus-size woman who has struggled with body image and self-esteem my whole life, I know exactly what it feels like to be nervous, insecure, and unsure if you’re “enough” for something like this.

That’s why this work means so much to me.

Boudoir changed my life—and now it’s how I give back to the world in my own small, powerful way.

My Story (And Why It Matters to You)

Before I found my way to boudoir, I was a world champion equestrian and later became an internationally published equine sport photographer, capturing both high-stakes and deeply emotional moments in the arena. That experience gave me the technical skill—but stepping into boudoir gave me the purpose.

Today, I’ve photographed over 460 incredible women, many of whom have returned for second and third sessions to celebrate:

💄 I do your hair and makeup myself, so we get a full 2 hours to connect, laugh, and build trust before you even step in front of the camera. By the time you're undressing, you’ll feel like you’re hanging out with a friend—not a stranger.

📸 With 20+ years of photography experience, I know how to pose and light every body, every curve, every beautiful nuance. You won’t be left wondering “what do I do with my hands?” I guide you through every moment.

💬 Most of my clients walk in as strangers and leave as friends. This work is deeply emotional, personal, and healing—for both of us. That’s why I show up with my whole heart.

• Now I’m a dog mom of two, totally obsessed with my xl pups Hank + Phil.

• I love a good road trip, am travel-obsessed, and believe every plane ticket is a form of self-care.

• I live for beauty, fashion, and glam, but I also know how to back a trailer and ride a horse…well.
